Message of condolences from President Nechirvan Barzani

On the passing of the late Dr. Abdul-Fattah Ali Botani, writer, academic, and former President of the Kurdish Academy, I wish to express my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to his family and relatives, the Kurdish Academy, as well as to all writers and scholars in Kurdistan.

Dr. Botani dedicated his life to the advancement of science, the intellectual community, and the promotion of Kurdish culture with unwavering commitment. I pray that God grants his soul mercy, and that He provides peace and comfort to all those affected by this loss.
