President Nechirvan Barzani and Prime Minister-designate al-Zaidi discuss the political process

President Nechirvan Barzani received Mr. Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, Prime Minister-designate of Iraq, along with an accompanying delegation from the Coordination Framework, who visited the Kurdistan Region today.

Their discussions focused on a range of topics, particularly the formation of the new Iraqi government. Both sides emphasized the necessity of enhancing dialogue among political entities to establish a government that represents all Iraqi communities and meets their aspirations.

The meeting also covered the management of Erbil-Baghdad relations and the resolution of issues in accordance with constitutional principles and applicable laws.
