During the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, President Nechirvan Barzani met with Ahmed al-Sharaa, President of the Syrian Arab Republic.

Their discussions focused on enhancing relations between the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and Syria, particularly in the areas of economic and trade cooperation, as well as the latest regional developments and the implications of the conflict. Both sides concurred on the importance of regional cooperation to avert risks to peace and stability.
