President Nechirvan Barzani congratulates Yezidis on Eda Rojiet Ezi

On the occasion of the Ezi Feast Day (Eda Rojiet Ezi), I congratulate the Mir of the Yezidis, Baba Sheikh, the Spiritual Council, and all our Yezidi brothers and sisters in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and across the world. I hope this occasion is celebrated in peace and harmony.

We want to assure our Yezidi sisters and brothers that we are committed to upholding all their rights. We will strive to restore normalcy in Shingal, facilitate the return of refugees, and rebuild their communities.

I wish you a happy Eid and a peaceful and prosperous year.
