President Nechirvan Barzani received Tuncer Bakırhan, Co-Chair of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) of Türkiye, in Erbil.
The meeting addressed the peace process in Türkiye and the latest regional developments. Both sides underscored the importance of seizing this historic opportunity to achieve peace and ensuring that it is not lost. They also emphasized the need for all parties to support the process.
The President reaffirmed the Kurdistan Region’s support for the peace process and expressed his readiness to provide all necessary assistance to ensure its success. He also emphasized the importance of peace for the security and stability of Türkiye and the entire region.
Mr. Bakırhan expressed his gratitude and that of the DEM Party for President Nechirvan Barzani’s continued support and efforts to advance the peace process.
