President Nechirvan Barzani received Mr. Mazloum Abdi.
The meeting addressed the overall situation in Syria, the situation of the Kurds in the country, and the latest regional developments. Both sides underscored the importance of safeguarding peace and stability.
The President reaffirmed the Kurdistan Region’s support for a peaceful and stable Syria in which the rights of the Kurds and all other components are protected. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening relations and cooperation between Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, and Syria.
Mr. Mazloum Abdi expressed his gratitude for President Nechirvan Barzani’s stance and continued support for the rights of the Kurds, as well as his efforts to promote peace and stability.
