President Nechirvan Barzani received Eoon-Gyo Shim, the new Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Erbil.
During the meeting, the President congratulated the new Consul General on his appointment and wished him success in his new diplomatic mission. He also expressed the readiness of the relevant institutions in the Kurdistan Region to provide support and assistance.
President Nechirvan Barzani reiterated his appreciation for the Republic of Korea's support and emphasized the Kurdistan Region’s desire to further strengthen relations with Republic of Korea and expand cooperation across all sectors.
For his part, Consul General Eoon-Gyo Shim commended President Nechirvan Barzani’s role in enhancing bilateral relations, expressed his pleasure at assuming his post in the Kurdistan Region, and reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening relations between the two sides.
