President Nechirvan Barzani receives outgoing German Consul General

President Nechirvan Barzani received Albrecht von Wittke, the outgoing German Consul General in the Kurdistan Region.

During the meeting, the President conveyed his gratitude for Germany’s continued support to the Kurdistan Region. He also commended Mr. von Wittke’s efforts in strengthening bilateral ties during his tenure and wished him continued success in his future endeavors.

In response, the German Consul General expressed his appreciation to President Nechirvan Barzani and the relevant authorities in the Kurdistan Region for their support and assistance during his tenure, and reaffirmed Germany’s commitment to further deepening relations with the Kurdistan Region.
