The Kurdistan Region attaches great importance to the discussions on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly and within the international organizations regarding Palestine. We in the Kurdistan Region reiterate our full support for the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and the establishment of their state in accordance with international law and legitimacy.
As a nation that has endured numerous sacrifices for our own freedom and rights, we honor the struggle and sacrifices of the people of Palestine in their quest for freedom. The Kurdistan Region has long hosted a representative office for Palestine.
We stress the consistent stance of the Kurdistan Region that warfare and violence will not resolve any issues. For everyone to coexist in peace, stability, and prosperity, it is essential to cease all hostilities and armed conflicts. Coexistence and peace must be fostered, and the rights of the region's peoples, along with security, a dignified life, and justice for all, must be assured and upheld in alignment with human values and international law.
