A statement from the Presidency of Kurdistan Region

"We strongly condemn the heinous shooting attack carried out this afternoon in Erbil, that killed two people, including a diplomat from Turkey, and injured another person.

We convey our heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the victims, and we hope a speedy recovery for the injured. We reiterate that we will not allow the security of the Kurdistan Region to be undermined. We will pursue our investigation and bring criminals to justice."
