It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of the renowned Kurdish painter Jamal Bakhtiar. Mr. Bakhtiar was a devoted artist who dedicated his life to art, serving his people and country passionately and leaving a rich artistic legacy behind.
I offer my deepest sympathies and condolences to his family, friends, and his supporters and share their grief. May God grant comfort and patience to all and may he rest in peace. He will be forever remembered for his artistic devotion and works of art.
