President Nechirvan Barzani met with Mr. Ayman Hussein Abdullah Al-Safadi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, during the Munich Security Conference.
The meeting addressed the relationships among Jordan, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region, emphasizing the importance of enhancing collaborative efforts in both political and economic spheres, as well as reviewing the latest developments in the region.
President Nechirvan Barzani emphasized the significance of the relationship with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, highlighting Jordan's pivotal role in fostering regional stability. He reaffirmed the Kurdistan Region's commitment to strengthening collaborative efforts with Jordan.
Minister Ayman Al-Safadi expressed Jordan's dedication to enhancing its relationships with both Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. He acknowledged the significant contribution of the Kurdistan Region to stability within Iraq and the broader region, highlighting the necessity of ongoing dialogue and collaborative efforts to tackle regional challenges.
The meeting also addressed security and political developments in Syria and the surrounding region, as well as other matters of mutual interest.
