Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani met with Kurdistan Region Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani in Erbil on Wednesday.
At the meeting, which was attended by the Kurdistan Region Vice Presidents, the Deputy Prime Minister briefed the President on the latest progress with the negotiations between Erbil and Baghdad. The meeting underlined that the Kurdistan Region will be committed to resolving the pending disagreements with Baghdad in accordance with the constitution.
The political and economic situation and the ongoing preventive measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic were also discussed. Both sides reiterated the need to further strengthen unity, cooperation, and coordination among all parties to surpass existing crises and issues.
