Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani met with the Speaker of Iraq’s Parliament, Mr. Muhammad Al-Halbousi, in Baghdad on Saturday.
Topics of discussion included the latest developments in Iraq, the importance of continuing the talks in order to resolve the pending disagreements on the basis of the constitution, and implementing the provisions of the Federal Budget Law that was recently approved in order to ensure the rights of all Iraqi citizens.
The two sides stressed the importance of holding early elections and creating the appropriate atmosphere to ensure that citizens choose their representatives according to their free will.
