Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani signed a decree on Sunday appointing Mr. Jabar Mustafa Rasoul as the Head of the Kurdistan Region Mine Action Agency (KMAA).
Following the ceremony, the President congratulated Mr. Rasoul on his new mission and reaffirmed his and the Kurdistan Region Presidency’s support for the agency.
The President commended the work of the KMAA and described it as an essential and patriotic endeavor. The President expressed hope that the Kurdistan Regional Government, all the relevant institutions and the international agencies offer full support to the KMAA.
