Message of condolence from President Nechirvan Barzani on the passing of Kurdish writer Farooq Rafiq

On the passing of the distinguished Kurdish writer, researcher, and intellectual Farooq Rafiq, I extend my condolences to his family, as well as to the broader community of writers and intellectuals in Kurdistan.

The late Farooq Rafiq made significant contributions to Kurdish literature and culture through his insightful thoughts and writings, particularly in the realms of philosophy and intellectual inquiry. His passing represents a great loss of a vibrant and talented voice.

May God have mercy on his soul and grant peace and comfort to all those grieving this loss.
