On behalf of myself and the people of Kurdistan, I extend my heartfelt thanks to His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and his office for the exceptional care and attention provided to the late Karim Sinjari during his recent treatment in Abu Dhabi.
Throughout his time in the hospital, the late Karim Sinjari received outstanding medical services and compassionate treatment from the involved parties, who made every effort to ensure he received the best possible care. For this, we are truly thankful.
I would like to take this opportunity to convey our heartfelt thanks for the commendable brotherly approach taken in fulfilling the responsibility of returning the body of the late Karim Shangali to our country. This act truly reflects the strong bond and spirit of camaraderie shared between the peoples of Kurdistan and the UAE. We are grateful for this humane and courageous stance, which will always be remembered with deep appreciation and gratitude by both the people and leadership of Kurdistan.
At the same time, we would like to convey our appreciation for the assistance and support that the UAE continues to extend to Iraq as a whole, including the Kurdistan Region. This genuine support reflects the solid bond of friendship and brotherhood that exists between the two sides.
