President Nechirvan Barzani received Dr. Azad Najar, a Kurdish surgeon living in Sweden who invented a new generation of artificial heart pump called “Real Heart”.
President Barzani said that Kurdistan innovators are sources of pride and inspiration to the people of Kurdistan, especially those who develop inventions and systems that save lives. He welcomed the endeavors of Dr. Najar, originally from Zakho, who runs a Scandinavian company that develops medical devices.
The KRG Minister of Health, Dr. Saman Barznji, also attended the meeting.
