President Nechirvan Barzani met with Mr. Nouri al-Maliki, leader of the Sate of Law Coalition, in Baghdad on Monday afternoon.
The main agenda was on the need to enhance national collaboration and address unresolved matters between Erbil and Baghdad in line with the Iraqi Constitution. They acknowledged the significance of adhering to the Constitution to safeguard the rights of all communities within Iraq.
Both parties recognized the importance of enhancing political dialogue among Iraqi forces and various factions, as well as the necessity to collaborate in tackling the pressing challenges that the nation is currently experiencing.
The two leaders engaged in a dialogue regarding the recent developments in the region, with a particular focus on the situation in Syria and its implications for Iraq and the broader Middle East. They underscored the necessity of collaboration to ensure peace and stability within the country.
