President Nechirvan Barzani held a meeting with Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim, the leader of the Hikma Movement, in Baghdad on Sunday afternoon. It was mutually agreed that these issues should be resolved in accordance with the Constitution, ensuring the rights and dignity of all Iraqi communities. Furthermore, they emphasized that the citizens should not bear the burden of political problems, to the detriment of their livelihoods.
In light of the complex situation in the region, both sides underscored the paramount importance of prioritizing the highest interests of the country and upholding peace and stability. They firmly expressed their shared view that Iraq should not be entangled in the wider Middle East’s tumultuous events and problems.
