President Nechirvan Barzani was welcomed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, in Abu Dhabi today.
During their meeting, the two leaders focused on strengthening the ties between the UAE, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region, highlighting the importance of promoting cooperation across various sectors to advance the interests and development of both sides.
They also exchanged views on recent regional developments and their implications for security and stability at both the regional and international levels, stressing that sustained cooperation and stronger coordination are essential to preserving peace and countering emerging threats.
Other topics of discussion included several other matters of mutual interest.
