President Nechirvan Barzani received Mr. Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union.
Their discussion focused on the internal situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. Both sides emphasized the necessity of resolving the political impasse that has affected the political process in the Kurdistan Region.
President Nechirvan Barzani expressed his support for Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin’s initiatives in this regard and highlighted the importance of continuing efforts that serve the broader interests of the Kurdistan Region, which is expected of all parties.
In response, the Secretary General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union expressed his gratitude for President Nechirvan Barzani’s support for his initiatives.
