President Nechirvan Barzani met with Halgurd Sheikh Najib, Supervisor of Soran Independent Administration, along with officials from the Soran administrative units.
The meeting addressed the current administrative and service conditions, highlighting the significance of Soran’s geographical location and its border gates, which are crucial for trade, economic activities, and tourism. They also examined the region’s needs across various sectors.
President Nechirvan Barzani acknowledged the potential for further growth across multiple sectors in the region. He congratulated the supervisors and officials for their dedicated efforts, while also expressing appreciation for the region’s ongoing development.
Future initiatives and projects planned for the region were also key topics, alongside strategies to address current challenges and deficiencies. The President reiterated his unwavering support for the Soran administration’s efforts to enhance service delivery.
The meeting further discussed the upcoming campaign for the Kurdistan parliamentary elections and the arrangements for the voting process. President Nechirvan Barzani emphasized the significance of the elections and urged all parties to conduct a respectful and peaceful campaign.
