I extend my warmest congratulations to all Kurdish writers and intellectuals across Kurdistan and beyond on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdish Writers Union. I wish them continued progress, creativity, and further achievements.
On this significant occasion, we reflect with deep respect and gratitude on the history and contributions of the Kurdish Writers Union over the past decades. Throughout various phases of our struggle, the Union has served as a vital platform for safeguarding the Kurdish language, literature, and national identity, while actively contributing to societal awareness.
Writers have consistently led the way in promoting human values and fostering a culture of tolerance, coexistence, and mutual respect. Today, we look to writers to continue playing a vital and responsible role in preserving unity and safeguarding the democratic and constitutional achievements of the Kurdistan Region through their remarkable works.
We honor the memory of the martyred writers and all those who sacrificed their lives for the Kurdish language and freedom. May their legacies be eternally cherished.
