On the occasion of the 55th Anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Islamic Scholars of Kurdistan, I warmly commend the President and members of the Executive Bureau of the Union of Islamic Scholars of Kurdistan, along with all religious preachers. I extend my congratulations to the religious scholars and wish them continued success.
The Union of Scholars and Religious Teachers, who demonstrated commitment and sacrifice during the revolution, continues to play a vital role in fostering a culture of coexistence and mutual acceptance in this era of freedom and tolerance. They are also instrumental in combating and eradicating extremist ideologies, while promoting patriotism and social harmony.
On this significant occasion, we honor the martyrs of the Union of Islamic Scholars of Kurdistan and pay tribute to their souls. We also express our unwavering support for the endeavors and initiatives of the Union of Islamic Scholars, reiterating our dedication to safeguarding the rights of religious preachers.
We affirm that the Kurdistan Region will persist as a land of coexistence for all religious and ethnic communities, free from discrimination. We will continue to confront hate speech and any attempts to undermine the culture of coexistence.
