President Nechirvan Barzani meets with Ahmet Davutoğlu

President Nechirvan Barzani met with Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, former Prime Minister of Türkiye and head of the Future Party, in Duhok. They discussed Kurdistan Region–Iraq relations with Türkiye and the overall situation in the region.

Both sides stressed the importance of revitalizing the peace process in Türkiye, agreeing that its positive impact would extend across the entire region. In this regard, they highlighted the importance of support from all sides for the process.

Iraq’s parliamentary election results and the future of Iraq’s political process were also key topics of their meeting.
