President Nechirvan Barzani met with Mr. Saeed Khatibzadeh, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the sidelines of Erbil Forum today.
The meeting focused on Kurdistan-Iran relations and ways to strengthen mutual cooperation across various sectors. They also discussed the situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, as well as the latest regional developments.
Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining dialogue and coordination to enhance bilateral relations in a way that serves their shared interests. They also stressed the need for continued engagement and understanding to resolve outstanding issues and promote regional stability.
Other topics of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
