Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani received the Secretary-General of the Iraqi National Project, Sheikh Jamal Al-Dhari in Erbil on Monday. The latest political and economic developments, the ongoing efforts to fill the vacant ministerial posts and finalization of Iraq’s newly formed government were discussed at the meeting.
The two sides also discussed the security developments in the country and the recent increase of ISIS movements in several Iraqi regions, including in the disputed areas.
President Nechirvan Barzani and Secretary-General Al-Dhari also spoke about the vision of the Iraqi National Project with regard to the political process in the country and the developments in the wider region.
