President Nechirvan Barzani met with Iraq’s Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani in Baghdad on Sunday.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the country concerning security, political process and public services, highlighting several pressing issues including the coordination between the Iraqi Federal Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government which is part of the agenda of the new Iraqi cabinet and its efforts to improve services throughout the country.
Both sides stressed the importance of resolving security issues and working for peace and stability in the border areas with neighboring countries as per the decisions at the last meeting of the Iraqi National Security Council.
