On the second day of his visit, President Nechirvan Barzani held discussions with Mr. Ali Akbar Ahmadian, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during a meeting in Tehran on Monday evening.
The meeting focused on the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region, highlighting the importance of coordination and collaboration, particularly in enhancing security and stability in the region.
President Nechirvan Barzani reaffirmed the Kurdistan Region's commitment to ensuring that its territory and borders do not pose any threat to the security of neighboring countries.
The discussion also addressed recent developments in the Middle East, along with other mutual concerns.
