President Nechirvan Barzani received Dr. Nuh Yilmaz, Deputy Foreign Minister of Türkiye, and his accompanying delegation this afternoon in Erbil.
The meeting focused on enhancing Türkiye’s relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, as well as the Development Road Project. They also shared insights on collaboration across various sectors to bolster security, stability, and development in the region.
A key topic of discussion was the peace process in Türkiye, where President Nechirvan Barzani reaffirmed the Kurdistan Region’s commitment to its success. Both parties agreed that achieving peace would yield positive outcomes for the entire region and create broader opportunities for mutual growth and cooperation.
The meeting also addressed the situation in Syria, recent regional developments, and other matters of shared interest.
