President Nechirvan Barzani receives outgoing Head of European Union Liaison Office

President Nechirvan Barzani received Radu Butum, the departing Head of the European Union Liaison Office in Erbil.

During the meeting, the President thanked Mr. Butum for his efforts to strengthen relations between the European Union and the Kurdistan Region throughout his tenure, and wished him success in his future endeavors.

In response, Mr. Butum expressed his gratitude to President Nechirvan Barzani and the relevant parties in the Kurdistan Region for their support throughout his tenure. He reaffirmed the European Union’s commitment to further strengthening relations and expanding cooperation with the Kurdistan Region.
