President Nechirvan Barzani receives the British Ambassador to Iraq

President Nechirvan Barzani received the British Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Irfan Siddiq, along with his accompanying delegation.

Both sides commended the strong British relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, emphasizing the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation across all sectors.

They regarded the successful execution of the Iraqi parliamentary elections as a significant milestone for advancing democracy and improving the political process in the country. Furthermore, they shared their perspectives on the formation of the forthcoming federal government in Iraq.

They also discussed the internal circumstances in the Kurdistan Region and other matters of mutual interest.
