President Nechirvan Barzani receives the Consul General of Jordan

President Nechirvan Barzani received Mr. Ziad Batarseh, the newly appointed Consul General of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Kurdistan Region. The President congratulated him on his appointment and pledged full support for his diplomatic duties.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

During the meeting, they discussed the longstanding relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Kingdom of Jordan, with both sides emphasizing their willingness and commitment to enhance and expand cooperation across sectors.

The two sides also addressed the recent parliamentary elections and the current situation in Iraq.
