President Nechirvan Barzani received Peter Nelson, Switzerland's new Ambassador to Iraq. The President congratulated the Ambassador on assuming his duties and wished him every success in his mission. He also reaffirmed the Kurdistan Region’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and expressed appreciation for Switzerland’s continued support for both Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
For his part, Ambassador Nelson expressed his satisfaction upon commencing his tenure in Iraq and reiterated his country’s commitment to advancing relations with both Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, as well as enhancing bilateral cooperation.
