President Nechirvan Barzani receives the new Consul General of India

President Nechirvan Barzani welcomed Mr. Brijesh Kumar, the newly appointed Consul General of India in the Kurdistan Region. The President extended his best wishes for Mr. Kumar’s success and reiterated the support of the relevant parties in the Kurdistan Region for the new Consul General.

Both sides conveyed their shared interest in enhancing relations and discussed ways to increase collaborative efforts across various sectors, with emphasis on the contributions of Indian labor and businesses in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
