Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani signed three decrees appointing three senior officials for the positions of General Director of National Police, General Director of the Traffic Police and General Director of Nationality, Passport and Residence.
At a ceremony, attended by the KRG Minister of Interior Rebar Ahmad and Chief of Staff of Kurdistan Region Presidency Fawzi Hariri, President Nechirvan Barzani signed the decrees appointing Police Major General Tariq Ahmad Ibrahim as the General Director of the National Police, Police Major General Abdulqadir Aziz Ibrahim as the General Director of Traffic Police and Police Major General Herish Ahmad Muhammad as the General Director of Nationality, Passport and Residence.
In a meeting following the ceremony, the President congratulated the three General Directors for their appointment, praised their public service records and wished them success in their new duties.
