President Nechirvan Barzani thanks Germany

President Nechirvan Barzani received Kassem Taher Saleh, a Green Party member of the German Bundestag.

The President thanked the German Bundestag for standing by the Kurdistan Region through difficult times, particularly during the war against terrorism, and commended Germany’s substantial role in offering refuge and support to displaced Yezidis.

The two sides also discussed developments in the region and ways to strengthen ties between the Kurdistan Region and Germany across a range of sectors.
