President Nechirvan Barzani, who is currently in Baghdad, is scheduled to travel to Tehran, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Saturday evening.
President Nechirvan Barzani has received an official invitation to attend the Tehran meeting for discussions organized by the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which will take place on Sunday.
His participation in this meeting reflects the Kurdistan Region’s commitment to fostering dialogue and strengthening constructive cooperation among the countries and the nations of the region. The aim is to promote peace, stability, economic collaboration, and peaceful coexistence.
During the meeting, President Nechirvan Barzani is expected to present the Kurdistan Region’s vision for the future of the broader region and emphasize the importance of building partnerships based on respect, unity, and shared interests.
While in Tehran, the President is also scheduled to engage with senior officials from the Islamic Republic of Iran. Discussions will focus on bilateral relations between Iran and Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region, as well as broader regional developments.
