President Nechirvan Barzani is scheduled to arrive in Dubai later today, at the official invitation of the United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
President Barzani on Friday will attend the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), which coincides with the UAE National Day celebrations. A multitude of prominent leaders from around the world will gather at Expo City Dubai for the upcoming summit.
At this significant conference chaired by the UAE, discussions will revolve around climate action, including nations’ strategies to mitigate climate change, adapt to its impact and minimize the risks.
