I welcome the reconvening of the Kurdistan Region Parliament. Parliament is the highest institution representing the will of all the people of Kurdistan. I call on all political forces to take an active part in its proceedings and, in a spirit of national responsibility, to resolve their differences within the parliamentary framework.
I hope this step will help break the political deadlock and create a more favourable environment for greater understanding and cooperation among all political parties.
I reaffirm that dialogue, compromise and partnership among all political forces are the foundation for overcoming differences and meeting challenges. Safeguarding political stability and protecting the institutions of the Kurdistan Region is a responsibility we all share.
