My fellow Kurdistanis,
The general voting for the Iraqi parliamentary elections is scheduled for tomorrow. I urge all eligible voters to engage actively in this process. Please cast your votes in a manner that is both civilized and free. The destiny and future of our country, the enforcement of the constitution, and the further strengthening of federalism will hinge on your participation and votes.
Voting represents a right, a duty, a message, and a moral obligation. It embodies a national responsibility and a renewed chance to express your free voice regarding the forthcoming phase of the political landscape in Iraq. Your involvement is crucial in fostering greater political stability, improved services, progress, and a dignified life for all.
Casting your vote signifies your commitment to your rights and to fortifying the position of the Kurdistan Region within the Federal Republic of Iraq. Widespread participation in the elections will enhance the Kurdistan Region’s standing in Iraq and strengthen its presence in Baghdad. It conveys a clear message of the people of Kurdistan’s dedication to democracy, coexistence, and dialogue aimed at constructing a brighter future for both the people of Kurdistan and all communities in Iraq.
I call upon all relevant authorities to ensure the execution of a free and fair electoral process with the highest level of responsibility and professionalism. Political parties must act with accountability and in accordance with the law, while cooperating with the Independent High Electoral Commission. It is our collective responsibility to present a positive image of democracy and civility in the Kurdistan Region.
Every vote holds significance for Kurdistan. Participate and vote to help shape your future and that of our country.
I wish everyone success.
