President of the Kurdistan Region tasks Masrour Barzani to form the Government

This Wednesday afternoon, 12/06/19, Mr Nechirvan Barzani, the President of Kurdistan Region has tasked Mr Masrour Barzani as the Prime Minister of the Council of Ministers to form the ninth cabinet of Kurdistan Region through a Regional decree no. (1), 2019, paragraph 12th, article (10th) of the amended Law of Presidency of Kurdistan Region no.(1), 2005 supported by parliamentary decision no. (7) of 2019 of the 8th regular parliamentary session held on 11th of June, 2019, in the presence of Dr Valla Fareed, the speaker of Kurdistan parliament and Judge Bangin Qasim Mohammed, the president of Judicial Council of Kurdistan Region.

According to the Regional decree, the cabinet formation must not exceed (30) days after the issue of this decree and the decree shall be executed at the date of its issue which is Wednesday, 12/06/19.
