On the 59th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Teachers’ Union, I congratulate all teachers in Kurdistan and wish them continued success in their mission. We are grateful for their outstanding contributions, and we highly value their struggles and great services within the education system in Kurdistan.
Teachers have played a crucial role in Kurdistan's education system throughout the past generations. Even in the most difficult periods of Kurdistan’s history, teachers continued to lead the education process with dedication and refused to abandon schools and their students despite severe shortcomings and hardships. Their resilience, sacrifices, and efforts in Kurdistan deserve respect and appreciation.
Education is one of the main pillars of development in any society and teachers are entrusted with this important mission of guiding generations of students. We reiterate our continued support for teachers’ rights and firmly believe that they deserve better standards of living.
We salute teachers in Kurdistan and wish them the best on the anniversary of the establishment of the Kurdistan Teachers’ Union.
