President Nechirvan Barzani received a phone call from Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
During their conversation, the two leaders addressed the recent developments in the region as well as the dangerous repercussions of the ongoing war. In this regard, both parties expressed great concern over the intensification of the war and emphasized the importance of enhancing diplomatic engagements to ease tensions and maintain peace and stability in the region.
They also discussed the UAE's relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, focusing on enhancing collaborative efforts across multiple sectors. Both sides expressed their commitment to further fortifying their longstanding and friendly ties.
President Nechirvan Barzani expressed his gratitude to the UAE for its support to Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and extended his wishes for peace and continued prosperity for the people of UAE.
