Kurdistan Region President meets with former Prime Minister of Iraq

President Nechirvan Barzani met with Mr. Mustafa Kazemi, the former Prime Minister of Iraq, to discuss the current political situation and the recent developments in Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, and the broader region.

Both parties emphasized the critical need to enhance collaboration and coordination among Iraq's political parties and communities to effectively address challenges and uphold peace and stability, steering clear of regional conflicts.

They also shared insights regarding ongoing discussions between Erbil and Baghdad to address outstanding issues. In this context, they agreed on the significance of sustained efforts and cooperation to achieve a mutual understanding to resolve the issues.
