Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani received Mr. John Godfrey, Acting Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Acting Special Envoy for the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, and his accompanying delegation, in Erbil on Friday.

In this context, the situation in al-Hawl refugee camp was discussed and ways to counter radicalization were highlighted.

Supporting the return of the displaced people to their home areas following the ISIS war, the continuation of the attacks on the US and the Coalition Forces and the collective efforts to preserve peace and stability in the region were discussed.
