President Nechirvan Barzani arrived in Baghdad on Sunday evening to participate in a meeting of the State Administration Coalition, which was also attended by Mr. Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Iraq, as well as Dr. Mahmoud al-Mashadani, the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

President Nechirvan Barzani emphasized the legal and constitutional entitlements of the Kurdistan Region and commended Prime Minister Al-Sudani for his efforts in fostering reconciliation between Erbil and Baghdad over the past year. He expressed optimism that all matters could be addressed through dialogue. A meeting between the two parties is set to take place tomorrow.

The President commended Prime Minister Al-Sudani for his efforts in enhancing Iraq's standing and fostering relationships with other nations grounded in shared interests.

The meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders to facilitate the execution of the government's initiatives across various sectors. It also highlighted the necessity of backing the government's financial and economic reforms, clarifying that there is no political stance regarding salary matters. Furthermore, it was noted that both technical issues and other concerns, regarding the salaries, can be effectively addressed through open dialogue and mutual understanding.

The coalition urged Iraq to address both regional and international challenges in a manner that safeguards its interests while steering clear of conflicts and crises. Additionally, they discussed the situation in Syria and reiterated Iraq's commitment to assist the Syrian people.

The meeting addressed the circumstances in the Middle East, the official visits of Prime Minister Al-Sudani to several countries, along with various other topics.
