During his ongoing visit to Zakho, President Nechirvan Barzani engaged in discussions with Gohdar Shekho, the Supervisor of the Autonomous Administration of Zakho, along with various officials from the administration's offices and units.
During the meeting, the supervisors and officials from the Zakho administration provided an overview of their ongoing work, projects, and activities, as well as the current administrative conditions and services in Zakho city and the administration as a whole. Additionally, they engaged in discussions regarding their future initiatives and projects.
President Nechirvan Barzani expressed his appreciation to the supervisors and officials of the administration for their efforts in promoting the region in multiple areas, even amidst the ongoing crises and challenges. He reaffirmed his unwavering support for the success of their initiatives and responsibilities.
In relation to the Kurdistan Parliamentary elections, which was also discussed during the meeting, the President expressed optimism for a successful process and emphasized the importance of all parties adhering to legal regulations while maintaining a peaceful election campaign.
