President Nechirvan Barzani issues a regional decree to form a new district and a sub-district

President Nechirvan Barzani has officially signed a decree to create the district of Rizgari within the Garmian Autonomous Administration, which encompasses the former sub-district of Rizgari.

In a separate regional decree, President Nechirvan Barzani signed another decree to establish the Avkan sub-district in the Zakho Autonomous Administration.

The creation of the Rizgari district in Garmian and the Avkan sub-district in Zakho is anticipated to enhance the provision of services for the residents of these regions across all sectors and to more effectively meet the expectations of citizens within these jurisdictions.
